A quick R&D test: a Japanese temple inspired by the Hōryū-ji Kondō, built procedurally in Houdini by Claude Opus 5.5 through MCP — just by talking to it. A Karma depth pass then drives a ComfyUI concept, and LTX Video brings it to life as a LookDev shot. 3D gives the structure, AI gives the look. ⏱ CHAPTERS 0:00 Procedural setup in Houdini (Opus 5.5 + MCP) 0:14 Depth map → ComfyUI concept 0:24 Base LookDev with ComfyUI + LTX Video 🔧 PIPELINE Houdini: procedural temple with

From concept sheet to moving character turntable: this LookDev workflow test brings an Anubis-inspired guardian to life with Krea 2 and MiniMax H3. Created locally with Director Edition and ComfyUI, the clip moves from character exploration and a multi-view reference sheet to a turntable and a final sword-draw pose. This is a short result showcase and character-consistency experiment—not a step-by-step tutorial. Tools: Krea 2, MiniMax H3, ComfyUI, Director Edition. #MiniMaxH3

I have spent the last few years exploring AI/VFX hybrid workflows in ComfyUI, and today I am sharing my latest development. I built a standalone desktop orchestrator that turns local generative models into a real asset pipeline. It drives models entirely on your own GPU. Write a list of props or upload your own concept art, and it returns a pack of textured 3D meshes, turntables, and contact sheets. No manual FBX round trips: finished assets land in a running Houdini session

AI S.L.O.P. Manager - 3D Asset Edition: From Concept Art to Animated 3D Character in Minutes Forget days of manual 3D modeling, frustrating weight painting, and expensive SaaS subscriptions. The AI S.L.O.P. Manager (Standalone Local Orchestration Platform) turns your local workstation into a private, automated AAA game studio. Traditional 3D asset creation is a massive bottleneck. Modeling, UV unwrapping, rigging, and animation retargeting take days of tedious technical work.

Run your local AI pipelines offline with a 1-click workspace. Zero Python setup, crash-proof memory control, 100% local power.** --- ## ⚡ Why Use AI Slop Manager? Running local AI (like ComfyUI and Ollama) usually requires terminal commands, custom environment setups, and constant out-of-memory (OOM) crashes. **AI Slop Manager** is a

Magyar Gépmesék – Spotlight: From Image to 3D – AI Workflow in Houdini | Presentation by Imre Tőke How can generative AI be effectively integrated into professional VFX and 3D pipelines? In this presentation, I showcase my journey from early AI experiments to an automated workflow capable of generating a fully textured 3D asset from a single 2D image and seamlessly bringing it into SideFX Houdini. I will break down Microsoft's Trellis2 model, the ComfyUI-to-Houdini bridge, au

AI Slop Manager is not just another wrapper—it is a heavy-duty, locally hosted orchestration engine built for serious AI production. Designed to sit on top of ComfyUI and Ollama, it replaces the chaotic "spaghetti node" interfaces with a sleek, modular Gradio 4 dashboard.

I haven't had the chance to test the Corridor Crew team's latest CorridorKey yet, due to resource constraints, so I focused on what I could achieve with my 16 GB RTX 4070 Ti Super using ComfyUI. While the results for the Roto (U2net-humansegmentation) were not quite satisfying, I managed to achieve some interesting results by combining ControlNet and the Wan2.2 video model. Since I did this test there is an option to make it work with lower VRAM testing still in progress

I’ve been experimenting with merging AI and VFX workflows for nearly 3 years now, and the progress is nothing short of incredible. My focus has been primarily on the ComfyUI – Houdini ecosystem. Thanks to the Houdini ComfyUI Bridge (developed by Rafael Drelich and Anatolii Iudanov), I’ve built a prototype to test the Trellis2 model—now fully integrated within Houdini. The goal was to Generate a Textured 3D Mesh, based on a single image. While automated segmentation is still a

It's amazing how much AI has developed in the last years, although it is not yet VFX production ready, but I think it will be somehow integrated into the workflow in the upcoming years. Mostly I'am working in Houdini and almost every VFX related idea can be solved in it , in a procedural way. I was happy when I found ComfyUI where we can tweak the AI content similar way, so I thought i'd start exploring its limits and also the limits of my laptop. (Currently I have a NVidia G
